Sometimes the process just stalls and a call gets the issue corrected. Of course you wont get any info from them. He did that the next day. The agent said everything is just fine but then put him on hold for 10 minutes to "check on something". Agent came back and said again "everything looks fine". Next day, text received the I-129f was approved. Something wasn't right and the call just it fixed.

I tried calling CSC but was rebuffed by their impenetrable phone menu. How does one go about speaking to a human being at CSC?

My fiance just called them and I think he pressed the number that is for military and spoke to a human. The operator wasn't very helpful though, she basically read him the same message that we get when we enter our receipt number on their website, told him that the processing time is 5 months and told him where to send the inquiry if we don't get approved in 5 months. So pretty much everything that we already knew.

I called that one, eventually got through to a live human being. Missicy is right, they don't do anything for you except read off a bunch of silly questions that have nothing to do with your case (instead of just asking you what you need).

When I was finally allowed to speak, they just told me what my NOA1 date is (which I already knew), say it's in process (which I already knew) and it hasn't been five months yet, so just wait and see.

I guess I'm getting settled in for another month or two of waiting here. We're planning on an end-of-April wedding, hopefully we will still have enough time.

Hi I'm glad to know that we're not the only June filers who hasn't got NOA 2 yet... June filers primary concern is at least they would advise us through email if there's any problem or whatsoever with the Petition..........it's been almost three months now coming this Sept. 11 still we haven't heard from CSC, my fiancee called them up and said we just have to wait for 5 months 'cause thats the processing time is. This really bother us ALL.......the waiting and I PRAY that it would be all worth it. Keeping the F-A-I-T-H !!! May the good LORD guide us all on this journey with our loved ones. GOD BLESS.

I just called USCIS to ask about my status. He explained to me that the processing time for the California Service Center is 5 months and that my application still hasn't passed that time frame. He confirmed that it usually takes less than 5 months. I asked him if he has heard any rumors about there being any sort of delay at the California Service Center. He said he had not. Then he said that if the volume of applications becomes too large for one service center, then the application will be transferred to another service center for faster processing. If that were to happen, they would send me a notification saying that it was being transferred. They haven't sent me anything.

I sure hope they get to June applications soon.
