Just got off the phone with USCIS. The representative told me that they are currently working on I-129F cases dated May 16, 2010. She said because they are behind, my case is still not technically over processing time. Because it is not over processing time, the system does not allow her to make a service request. She said to call back in 2 weeks if I have not heard anything.

This is SO frustrating.

Say what??? Contact them in 2 more weeks if you have not heard anything - What the hell kind of response is that?!?!?!? They have lost their ever lovin minds up in CSC!!! Seriously, the USCIS site says 5 months for I-129F filings not 5 months plus 14 days!!!

They need to hire more staff to get these files out plain and simple. Supervisors, managers need to all be assisting the main processors to get this files moving. This wait is way too ridiculous!!!

have you tried getting ready for the wedding as far as things like deciding on cake, favors and wedding dress and things like that go?

Yes - do all your wedding prep now. Ours is all done. We are having a very small ceremony - less than 50 people. I have everything all set and in "hold" status until we can move forward - which starts with getting that damn elusive NOA2!!!

Well it's hard to plan that stuff when you don't have a date. We have a scarce budget. At first that seemed like a hindrance, but now it's for the best as it's really hard to plan a huge affair without a concrete date. We're just doing a civil ceremony (which is easy enough to rebook if necessary) and a dinner/party at a local restaurant after. I've been getting price quotes and exploring options. I just bought my dress.

We're planning on driving down Highway 1 along the Pacific for our honeymoon. We're starting in Seattle then driving all the way down to LA.

Whoa wedding stuff...every now and then I remember we're getting married and it's like "Oh yeah, that." Suffice it to say, we have 0 plans. haha...

Edited to add: I'm about to go over to Michigan (probably when I finish typing this). We were supposed to go out for dinner tonight at a restaurant but the A found out the McRib has come back early and so yeah...golden arches for me tonight!

that is gorgeous,is it tea length?

i guess im too preppy,i have my eyes on a couple of jcrew wedding gowns,i also wanted a justin alexander, tea length and full skirt, but again we are doing a wedding themed party,as it will be on SO's birthday,so,a really wedding like wedding dress will be irrelevant.

its a tie between this images_onFigure_26_26954_26954_NA6434_m_tif_75a80b2ef765184f.jpg

etsy,it says in the link

You're a girl?! I thought you were a dude this entire time. I like the second dress better, the back is more detailed and it's a bit more fitted.

I don't know why I always assume everyone is male on the Internet. Thanks everyone, yes it's Etsy and it's tea length.

Lol @ everyone is a dude on the internet. I think most ppl on this site is female. My outfit is for a hindu ceremoney will post the one that i love when i get home (on cell @ work right now).. Love all the dresses u ladies r choosing!! Our ceremony will b small too and its just what i want my parents and siblings, his mom and hopefully siblings and us. Thats it! It will b at our house. Very small intimate wedding where it will really b about just us. And not hundreds of ppl like a traditional wedding with all of them being family we barely know. Lol!

So, I thought I'd post my dress as well. I'm seriously in love with it! Sadly, I probably won't be able to afford it :(
