1. I don't know...you can use the immigration timelines available on this website to find out. I don't think many of us CSC'ers probably pay any attention to VSC. Here, you can play around with this: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php?cfl=

2. You refer to the "notice date" in the upper right hand corner (mine is July 6). Some people I think don't understand that all the time so sometimes you'll see in their timelines they day they received it in the mail.

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020

Thanks jlovesa i appreciate it. Not really paying much attention to vsc but just thought about it cuz trying to estimate how long after we get the notice it will take. And thanks again for that. I would need to update my timeline then cuz i think the date is 14th of june :( longer now.. Still hoping for christmas even though it looks like jan or feb :(

ok so update on me,possibly the bitchiest and most thin nerved member of visa journey.

im fine, like surprisingly enough im not stressed or frustrated.it will happen, eventually.stressing and making the wait more painful wont help.

i dont know what happened, but it looks like something or someone flipped the chill switch

:) i wish i can be like that... I know it doesnt help stressing about it but i feel like im going insane.. I really wish i can be calm but its not possible. Especially knowing my fiance is going through the same, it makes it worse to know he is feeling the way i am and cant do anything about it. But yay for u!!! :) :)

you know i think focusing more on getting ready for after second notice of action is helping me a LOT,im making check lists,im reading about What happens next, plus the embassy we filed with has an average waiting time of 3 months,i cant keep beating myself like this for say six more months

Wow!!! Omg!! I think ours is a month after vsc u get the interview because they give u time for the medical and police certificate etc.. 6 more months is alot! Im sorry! For these instances i wish i had a time machine or something. Lol!

its ok,i knew what im getting myself into as far as the embassy goes,i just didnt expect CSC to be such huge disappointment.

plus no mail from iran is accepted,so im gonna have to send packet 3 to a friend in germany, and she will have to send it to my SO ( if there is any paperwork that needs signing by him ) AND THEN everything will be sent off to the embassy.

its ok tho,i just wish CSC would hurry up

I feel ya on that Ygr!

A few months back when spoke with a rep at the Embassy in Nassau and he told me their side of process is that once an approval is uploaded into the system. They get notified electronically and then approx. 6 weeks later when they get the actual file that's when they start the processing K-1 on their side which could take 1+ months - AGHHHHHH!!!!

Given all this we pushed our wedding date out to early 2011.

I've also found that preparing for the next stage is helpful, but then we finished that stuff and now it's back to pacing around. I've already ordered my tax transcripts, organized my co-sponsor, sent my fiance a checklist of what to expect, gave him all original documents used in the I-129F, and downloaded and did a dry run of all forms he will receive in the packet. He's already sent away for his police check, confirmed he has the correct form of birth certificate, and has an appointment with his GP for a vaccination check. I can't obtain my employer letter or write out the new letters of intent until we're closer to the interview date.

We're all ready, we just need the damn NOA2!

I guess I can start rounding up the proof of relationship evidence.

Yea i think we all wouldve handled it alot better if csc did what they needed to do. 2 months and nothing. I understand they were transferring etc but y the halt on processing? They couldve done both. Especially since new apps were being sent to texas. But o well, like u said we cant really do anything but just wait.

2 months? More like 3. I filed June 30th and barely any VJers were approved from July through mid-October.

we are setting the date for october 2011.better have later than gamble the money and time and effort, considering CSC is like uber duber slow at the moment

i think you started a bit early,it is good, cause you have everything ready, but then again, there is nothing left to do.have you tried watching tv shows and reading books and videogames?

i find anything that helps distract me from real world amazingly helpful ( as geeky and desperate as it sounds :bonk: )

I just hope we can get married by April. We thought April was being extra cautious, now we'll be lucky if it happens then.
