My fiance got NOA2 in the mail yesterday!!!!!! USCIS says updated as of October 20th (date on NOA2) but it's still in initial review.... guess we were one of those cases that never changes!

Anyway.... wahooo! NOA2!!

Congrats! Yeah!!! June filers are starting to get NOA2's - keep them coming CSC!!!

Basically you just change the last number of your case number and it lets you look at other cases.

Beware though, as it seems to be driving other people here crazy by knowing about other people's cases. IMHO ignorance is bliss in this case.

Our online case status still says "initial review". I beg to differ, since we have the hard copy of the approval in hand. Don't put too much faith in the online status thing.... you could get a very nice surprise one of these days, as we did.

This is good to know. They are probably so busy popping out NOA2's that they do not have time to update the online statuses. I pray that is the case. Now I know not to put too much weight on the online case status. Thanks. Good lookin out!

Well, I was hoping since we got a touch on the 21st that we might have an NOA2 sitting in the mailbox by now without our case status being updated online, like everyone did last week. Empty mailbox today. Looks like I'll be calling bright and early tomorrow. Fully expecting them to tell me to just keep waiting...

I'm starting to feel emotionally drained. I could never be an adjudicator, knowing that there are thousands of people out there waiting and feeling like I am feeling right now. I miss Thoko so much. :(

thats the thing with uscis sometimes they dont even change anything and then in the mail you would get the noa2 but then you would get notices and also the noa2.. then some ppl's cases get "touched" alot then some none at all.. only they know what is going on.. and of ccourse we just have to wait.. its hard.. i have seen ppl gotten approved with dates after mine and idk whats going on... and i knnow ppl get approvals everyday.. dont go just my igor's list because alot of ppl not updating their timelines but they would say it on the forums.. so dont just judge by that..

or you could be a great adjudicator.

what bothers me is it seems like people who try to immigrate illegally get more legal attention than people like you or idaho_and_surigao .i really hope we all get our approvals soon.

we just recently changed our address so set to their standards we have to get a touch soon,if we dont,im gonna completely give up on their E system

Yes, please call them and let us know of their response.

Just got off the phone with USCIS. The representative told me that they are currently working on I-129F cases dated May 16, 2010. She said because they are behind, my case is still not technically over processing time. Because it is not over processing time, the system does not allow her to make a service request. She said to call back in 2 weeks if I have not heard anything.

This is SO frustrating.

....Seriously? They are suggesting that it will take them TWO WEEKS to get from May 16 to May 27 (your NOA1)? God, those people really piss me off, telling you you're "technically" not over your processing time, just because they can't organise themselves in a way that prevents a backlog in one visa type or another at any given moment. Isn't their official processing time 5 months? Meaning... you are past it?

I realise I'm ranting and not adding anything useful here, but I am just feeling your frustration and pain. I have my fingers crossed hard for you that your NOA2 comes soon. Thanks for updating with this information, I'm sure we're all happy for all the information we can get!

Hahaha, yeah I'm reeeeeally trying to bite my tongue and not go off on a rant!!

Dontcha just love the way that they slide the dates around so they don't seem to have to be held accountable for posting a 5 month processing time?!
