Now I'm starting to get worried haha.

I mean, why won't they approve it or touch it again? :( Maybe the touch was them sending out a RFE. I think I might actually start crying if we get one.

i was just reading horror stories about ankara embassy and i got really worried.its like they are either REALLY bad or go REALLY easy on you, there is no middle ground,we have a LOT of chatlogs, but they are rather too personal to share with a complete stranger ( im not the most out there person when it comes to bee and i as a couple and our conversations as a couple ) a lot of emails that were done with the purpose of being evidence for interview, and a couple of pics,we have to do more and get more.

dont get worried,im just paranoid

Oh, I know. In the end, all you can do is gather as much as you have and hope for the best. I'm most nervous that we don't have many phone records, because all we do is Skype and email (a LOT), and I was reading a horror story about how they made a big deal about phone records or rather the lack thereof. But being totally upfront and letting your love show is the best thing there is, I hope... I wouldn't be too worried about sharing things with a total stranger. Remember, they have hundreds of these in a year, they'll forget about the personal stuff 5 minutes after you leave. Hell, I'd show them our "home videos" if that wasn't going a little too far...

But again, I'm dealing with the Amsterdam embassy which I'm guessing is a lot more easygoing than Ankara. Do they allow your fiance to be with you at the interview?

nope, they are offered the chance to be there in theory, but usually the USC is not allowed in.someone mentioned they constantly contacted embassy until they sent her an email stating she will be able to get in tho,she printed it out and it worked,it also rather surprised the interviewer,so we are going to do the same.

plus im gonna need someone in case i faint or something.i seriously hope we dont get AP

Yeah, push 'em til they let you! You'd almost forget, during this whole process, that you actually have some rights as a human being...

Do you need all of the proof of relationship stuff at the embassy interview? I thought that was more for the AOS stage? I read that you need the original documents used in the I-129F petition regarding meeting in person, but I didn't think they requested the chat logs, phone records, etc. until later?

in the interview, you need to prove that the relationship is bona fide, meaning pictures, chat logs and phone records come in handy then,CSC's job is getting convinced that you have met in the past two years and the information on the package is right.

when it comes to AOs,you have to prove how bona fide your marriage is.

i dont think they will need the original of documents used in 129f as far as meeting in person goes, but its better to carry too much into the interview than getting an RFE

EDIT: nvm i see you saw the VJ checklist, ima just let the answer be in case someone has the same question

It's so difficult in the Internet Age to prove this stuff. We used to have a lot of phone record documentation but once we discovered Twitter we just set up private accounts and set up mobile alerts and have been texting that way for months so we'd only have to pay local rates. All it will show on the text records is the 5-digit Twitter number. We use gchat daily so we'll have proof there, but in terms of phone conversations we use video chats as they're free (but not documented). We do write letters to each other often, which helps.

For a couple that doesn't go longer than a few hours (when sleeping) without talking, where do you begin in terms of cherry picking relevant official-looking logs?

I was thinking of doing a Gmail search of his name and just printing out the full list of tabs to show that we communicate daily. I'm just not sure how much to print or what's best to use.

you can screen shoot the twitter pages to show you have been speaking, and only with eachother.we personally decided to take a couple of more formal emails from past and keep on emailing within their limits ( ive heard calling your fiance your husband and stuff like that is a red flag in their eyes ) so we will have more proof by then.

i mean it is obvious, that when you talk to someone like you mention literally 25 hours a day you love them and you cant go on without talking to them and consider them your life long partner.its just hard to you know, keep it within the mentioned frame.

Hey, that's what me and A do, too! I wrote about it in the Canadian forum but no one seemed to pay any attention to the good advice (which it is IMHO). I've thought about showing a phone bill and then doing a screen shot from that particular day/week to prove all those messages do go to him.

So I gotta ask...do you ever accidentally forget to do the "d username" before the message? We do all the time and I've accidentally posted some pretty lame stuff to my Twitter. Oh wait...you said you just do private accounts. Never mind. You're lucky you're immune from the "Oh honey I miss you so much!" messages accidentally getting posted for all to see.:blush:

HAHA yeah I don't use Twitter for any other purpose so I don't have that problem. You know you can just start a different account, right? That's what he does. He has his regular Twitter account and the one just for texting purposes.
