Got my EAD card in the mail today.

Mine only took about two weeks from the time they got it, I sent mine UPS Standard, but USPS would work just as good too:)I only sent mine UPS because the office is open later. Just so you know you do

Hey, mandaNchris, did you get your AP card as well? Did you apply for it, I can't remember...

Having a great time here, eating way too much food, it's insane!!! We're leaving for the US on Saturday. I can't wait to see my dog!!! But it'll be sad to leave everyone too... Oh well, that's life! At least I got to come home and visit for a while!

I didn't apply for AP.

lol I miss all the Canadian foods. I can't wait to go back to eat! haha Hope your trip home is a good one.

I'm in the airport right now, gosh leaving was sad!!!!! Had a great time, and Chris and I will probably be coming back in October, I can't wait 9 months again, that was too hard!!!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you all know how it went crossing the border with the green card for the first time! I had brought my birth certificate, my marriage certificate, my EAD and AP just in case; and when we got to customs, the officer looked at it, put it in his computer or whatever it is they do with passports/green cards and said "have a safe trip back home'! Quite easy and very quick!

So we're back home again, it's super hot and humid, quite the change from the canadian weather! :lol:

Glad you made it home safely and had no troubles. I haven't got to use my green card crossing the border yet! Can't wait to visit back home tho. When you were going back to Canada did you use your passport or green card? or both? I'm going to be going back for a visit in October and December...I would like to fit one in the summer too tho..Maybe Aug.. We shall see :D Luckily I've been having lots of company visiting me here in Texas. Here it's been in the mid 90's..HOT.. I hear it's been raining alot back home.

Yes, been flying through, thank God. I'm currently in St. Croix. Small island, beautiful waters and seafood is cheap. $7/lbs for lobster! Life is good :-D
