So guys, I haven't been touched since October 21st, and my AOS still says 'acceptance'... It's really starting to piss me off!

I only just got touches on my biometrics days (11/13/2010) and today on my EAD and AOS...but my AP is still from the filing date. So I wouldn't worry too much Vero cuz I don't think you've had biometrics yet, right?

And my AOS still says "Acceptance" its not even at Initial Review yet too...

LOL thats ok! It took one hour for the appointment, 5 minutes to take the actual biometrics. Also I took a certified copy of my marriage license with me (for some reason didn't even cross my mind to take the original) they accepted it but had to go "verify" if first. I think that was part of my one hour wait...so if you think of it take the original (which I usually always do, but oops!).

Ah, ok thanks for letting me know! I don't think I would have thought of bringing that... Here's what I'm bringing, let me know if I forget anything!

- SSN

- Marriage certificate (thanks again!)

- App letter

- Passport

- Driver's license

I can't have an MRI done anyways because I have screws in my knee. So no worries there haha. The earring can be taken out, we just have been unsuccessful and I don't trust my husband with pliers in my ear (we tried that and it was terrifying). I just need to go to a professional. It was screwed in too well haha once it's out the changeable earrings are easy. It's just the still one I had it pierced with.

that sucks about your knee. I probably wouldnt trust my fiance either. Its scary to let people do things that you know might end up hurting you. Glad that they didnt make you take that one out.

Good news for me, my sister got her van fixed and is able to come to the wedding. I am so happy. I think our minister is doing good too. He told my step mother inlaw to have us call him so we can talk about the rehearsal and wedding vows we want. Looks like its all coming together now finally. My younger sister and her fiance will be here tomorrow night. I cant wait to see her.

I have a quick question about my AOS fees.. I'm submitting the i-485, and also the i-765 (EAD) .. does the new fee increase hit people who have filed their AOS package AFTER Nov 23rd? If so, the total amount I'm paying SHOULD be $1010, correct? (i-485 fee + biometrics fee)

Need some direction here..

We're sending ours in tomorrow and i think we're just going to go ahead and send in $1090. i have a feeling that they going to go by their receipt date not by the posted date, as in - when the put it in their system and not the postage stamp..

we've hit the fee increase every step of the way! it sucks..

It's worth trying it, you're saving money! I know, it sucks! Chris always jokes around to his friends, saying he 'paid' to get his wife shipped to him...

My AOS and EAD both have touches on my bio days too... probably because they entered that I had them done... AP still has Oct 22 for me. All mine say initial review though. Probably just a website glitch because Wishing and I are pretty much at the same place in this process.

It's kind of like a race..... bwahahahaha

I brought my original and they never asked for it. I had a military spouse ID though with my photo and they took that.

I brought my SSNcard and passport too but they didn't ask to see it.

EAD went to Card/ Document Production status today!!

Our wedding turned out beautiful. It turned out so perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything more. My family was here, the weather ended up clear for our outdoor ceremony and we got some nice good luck showers in the evening. I am proud to say I am the wife of the man I love so much

Thanks eveyrone else for the info on the biometrics. I'm not looking forward to the long drive the day before thanksgiving... Should be interesting...

mandaNchris, I'm glad some things are getting 'fixed' before your bid day! My mom always use to tell me 'you won't remember it on your wedding day' when something would happen and piss me off or annoy me! I guess it could not be more true in this case!

Yay! AOS/EAD sent off 11/15/2010 for me! I decided to include a cheque for $1010, hoping that my interpretation of the rate increase is correct that any application post-marked AFTER the 23rd are subject to the new fee.. we will see.

It will be great if all our AOS journeys can progress as fast as nickbits has, wow!
