Hi all! We received the NOAs on the mail today!!! So excited!!! :)

Now I have one question, there's Biometrics for both (I-485 and I-765), will they be done separately?

Woop!! Biometrics will be done at the same appointment. Your appointment letter should have both applications on it (if I remember correctly).

Ok It's been 16 days now since my NOA1 and still no Biometrics, is this normal???

I am trying to be as calm as possible but I have heard cases where they appoint Biometrics and people don't get their letters and then they miss the appointments. I've already have had enough complications, so I don't want this to happen to me.

Should I start calling and asking why haven't I received the Biometrics yet?

Yes, it is normal to wait even longer than that. Did you read somewhere on the official website that the processing times for EAD is 2 weeks instead of 3 months?You need to be patient, there is nothing wrong with your case.

Ok. I'm relieved to hear that. I don't know why I thought it took only from 7 - 9 days and I was going crazy thinking maybe they sent it and it got lost, or something. Thank you for answering! :)

Good morning to all!

My husband and I are a bit concerned because we haven't heard from USCIS in over a month, they've been touching our applications, but still no biometrics, and it's been over a month that they sent the NOA1. I called NCSC today and they said that they will request information and that they'll send it to me within 30 days, and if in 30 days I didn't hear from them I should call back, but they weren't able to tell me if I had biometrics date or anything. Is there anything else I can do? Or just sit and wait? It seems to be odd that I haven't received an appointment yet. =[

Yaay! Did they ever un-transfer your 130 from CSC and put it back to NBC? Glad things are moving :)

Harpa, I received several e-mails from USCIS and until now I had no clue why they kept e-mailing me. Reading back one of them says that the I-130 was transfered to NBC. Is that good? Does it mean they were matching up my I-130 with the I-485? And could it possibly be the reason why the took so long to schedule a Bio appointment?

Thank you for all your support throughout! I am sure I'll still need support to keep sane, but I'm a bit relieved now!

More information on our case: We went to the office yesterday to have my biometrics taken! We were there 2 hours early and it was done in 10 minutes! I hope I get an EAD soon! :)

The USCIS office in Alexandria (still) provides a great customer service and I remember I've got the EAD card in the mail within a week or so. I hope you will get it soon too!!! :thumbs:

Wow, yours was pretty fast! Well I also hope I get it pretty soon! Especially after all the delays. I was thinking it'd be a great Christmas gift! :P
