skynaut is right. August VSC filers can expect NOA2 in a month or so.

Makes me wish I lived in another part of the country right now. The CSC seems to get overwhelmed frequently. Well, at least that is the impression I get.

Aha, that's why I am saying you should expect your NOA2 quite soon. If you were a July filer, you would have probably received it already hehe Good luck!

Makes me wish I lived in another part of the country right now. The CSC seems to get overwhelmed frequently. Well, at least that is the impression I get.

Actually it doesn't matter where you live, coz it doesn't really depend on location. My hubby lives close to VSC, but our case was still sent to CSC. I don't know what criteria this chose was based on...

Just my 2Cent...

I just looked at IGOR's List... and i saw that FEB(99), MARCH(128) & APRIL(87) had max number of Filers...

and now if we look at MAY - 64, JUNE - 54, JULY - 41 & AUG - 43... has low # of filers...

now if we assume that I-130 applications might have droped during these months according to the data...

I'm guessing the processing time should cut down by 1 - 2 weeks or even more... keeping my fingers crossed for this to happen...

my husband mailed the i-130 on aug 24, 2010 in london embassy but my country is in the philippines.. we received the notice of receipt on sept 3,2010. They said that no receipt number.. Is there difference filing abroad than in US?

For May Filers 20% already approved

For June Filers 14% already approved

For July Filers 9% already approved

For August Filers 0% Still Waiting for someone to get approved....

I see that May filers are getting approved now... that's good....
