TSC! give us a break, if u guys approve us we'll all be out of your hairs and u wont be bothered with angry letters, letter from congressman,senators,angry phone calls etc.. .

There are many people from different countries who filed even at the beginning of July and still haven't been approved, so it is not just your country! TSC is messed up!

yup, i think its all from July-Aug filers. . .i ALWAYS read approvals from Sept and oh yeah even October filers which sucks big time. . .happy for them and all but it's just not fair.

I should have re enlisted at least then i would have my wife here all my army buddies got approved already... they got expidited which i believe is right because most of them are deploying in march but damn come on already why transfer us to tsc if its gonna mess things up this much

I am still waiting as most of July filers are as well. Just read the California Sevice Center to Texas Service Center link. There were 3 people who got approved yesterday. It has nothing to do with the country your spouse is from.

No,it's not just the Philippines,I am waiting also,all of us from all different countries,we are waiting..! 166 days!!!

So just an update on my case and something to make you laugh/yell. I was approved on December 23. I have been calling the NVC daily, sometimes talking to an operator, sometimes just doing the automated system, to see if they received my packet yet. Nothing so far. But yesterday I got an email from USCIS stating the following.

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On January 21, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Really? I get we had the holidays, etc., but #######? Approved on Dec. 23 and shipped on the Jan 21st? What the hell was TSC doing for a month? I'm assuming that when they approved they had everything in front of them in a nice neat packet. Put an official seal on it, shove it in an envelope, and put a bloody stamp on it. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad my case is moving forward, I realize I'm very lucky that my case has been approved when so many in my time frame and beyond have not. But it's kind of aggravating to see it takes a month to ship out an already approved case. I'm sure all of us in here are feeling that every day that goes by with out progress is sort of agony. Don't mind me, I'm just venting. Good luck to all and it better start raining approvals up in here. The next federal holiday isn't until Washington's Birthday at the end of Feb! They got a month to get a lot of approvals done!

Congrats! even though they waited a month to tell you. Let us know when it gets to NVC.

Yesterday (24th Jan) was our 5th month after our NOA1. Still nothing since Nov 30th, which was when it was transferred from California to Texas. We've refrained from calling until today. As I type, my wife is on the phone to them and the guy on the other end is checking their system. He did initially say that the 5 months begin again from the Texas transfer, but that was soon corrected (Phew!!).

He said it still shows we have 7 days within the normal processing time, so there's nothing he can do at this point. So he said wait 8 days and call back, at which time they can put in a service request. So assuming that's working days, we can call back on Feb 4th.

Hopefully this waiting will soon be over.

She MUST have stayed at CSC. No way she would have her interview within 6 months of mailing her petition if she had been kicked over to TSC. So jealous! (Nothing against her of course – we should all get that kind of treatment!)

At least you got your case number at NVC, right? We have been approved for 11 days already but still no case number. How many days after approval did you get your case number?
