As someone who was transferred to TSC, it is very difficult to stay positive, as so far we have seen very little good come out of the transfer (except for for the people who stayed at CSC). But you are all right, focusing on the negative only makes it more upsetting, and also, we don't know everything that is going on behind the scenes and with people who aren't on VJ. My hope is that TSC will be able to get through the initial hiccup of this mass transfer, and they'll soon start approving us all very quickly!

For now, I'm just getting excited about seeing my husband again. We're meeting in Italy for two and a half weeks (!) at the end of December, after almost 6 months of not seeing each other (and another 6 months before that). Just thinking about seeing him soon is all I need to get me through the day.

I think it's also important to remember that no matter what we have to go through or how many setbacks there are, we will get through this process eventually. It takes as long as it takes, but when it's all done, we'll be reunited for good, and it will all be worth it.

Thanks for remembering me, Kikapoo! I'm still here. I am still reading all of the posts here. It is just made me sad that we didn't get any news from USCIS yet. :( I'm on a vacation right now to somehow forget the stress of the waiting. We are staying positive though that we are going to get it this month, God willing.

I'm so happy to see your progress in your NVC. All the best in the rest of the process! :)

I'm sad too! Are you guys on vacation together? And, by the way, is it husband or wife who has been gracing us with their presence all these months? Just out of curiosity ;).

Thanks for the congrats. I'm super-excited, but I also feel so bad for everyone still waiting...so I try not to post too much :-/. I sincerely hope that you ALL will be receiving NOA2 in the next week or two (or day or two!).

I couldn't have worded any better myself. I agree with you word to word. Seeing nothing is getting done at TSC with I-130s it is very hard to stay positive but I always say people are going to get approved @TSC today or tomorrow. Although nothing for 2 weaks I still have hope that there will be some approvals before the end of the year. I don't need to be the one who gets approved now but as long as I see others getting approved it will make me feel better and happy for them.

I really am happy for you Kikapoo. I won't mind if you posted everyday and told about how it is at VSC. :) I am just glad that you got through. Thanks for the kind words. The rest of us wil get approved sooner or later. Its 4 months for me since NOA1 but I feel worse for the July filers. Some of them have already passed the 5 month mark. I hope they all get approved soon.

Depends which consulate you are going to have your interview. I'll be having it at Montreal and the backlog is currently around 5 months, so even if I get approved today, finish NVC tomorrow, I still won't have an interview date by March. no0pb.gif

To praphrase a wise woman..."Start planning for your interview to be in March and it will happen". (Maybe even plan for Jan or Feb).

Hang in there Jennie Ann. It will happen soon and these sad days of waiting will be replaced with glorious days of living happily together forever.

I am sooooo happy that you will be with your husband for 2-1/2 weeks. What a great Christmas present to each other and how nice that will be. Every time you start to feel sad about the USCIS stuff, replace it in your mind with a picture of your upcoming reunion. It is so close and it will be so fabulous.

My husband once sent me a picture of a very tiny beautiful island (maybe 2,000 sq feet) with lush green vegetation and a beautiful white sandy beach that streched way out. He told me this was "our island". When I want to be with him, I go there in my mind. I have embellished it substantually. We live there full time (in my mind) and it has a "special" elevater type box that we enter, push a button and arrive anywhere in the world we want to be (London, Paris, Home with Family, Cruising the world, ...). When we get there, there is a chauffered limosine waiting to take us anywhere we want to go. It's pretty far out but, what the heck, that's what dreamland is all about.

Aww, that is so sweet! I am happy to report that things are going smoothly so far (and I'm certainly not going to come on and complain about the 7 days it took for them to accept my DS-3032. I guess "long wait" is all relative, and when you feel like you COULD be doing something, every day counts! :)

I agree about the July filers. If I were them, I think I too would be at the point of anger and/or desperation. :-/

Thanks for the kind words, Nile Romance. I definitely hang on to thoughts of our reunion to get me through the long stretches without each other. We also chat on Skype as much as possible, and sometimes we have "dates" – we watch a movie at the same time and chat to each other about it, because that's what we'd be doing if we were together.

I love that you two have your own island. That's very sweet. I hope you get to see each other soon!

This is the wife, Evieve :)

No, we are not vacationing together. Matt told me to take a break and get a week vacation so I did. We are still in contact 24/7 still though. It will be 5 months since we last saw each other :( We really hope to hear from them very soon.

Kikapoo, it's okay for you to post as much as you can. You lift our spirit up and gave us hope :) So, please keep them coming. :)

It's been so quiet here. I know we are still waiting for our NOA2. It's been hard but please have a merry Christmas. Let's keep our faith up that everything will be set into places.

God bless us all! :)

Hello all,

I'm new to this conversation but have been on the CSC to TSC one, just wanted to let you guys know I just got approved! Got a text a bit a go from USCIS, ran to my computer (running over my nephew in the process), ran downstairs to tell the family, called the wife, and now letting my VJ peeps know. See, you guys rank pretty high with me, haven't even told my best friend, ha ha! I smell more approvals coming soon! Have a great christmas!
