Saylin and Ceyhunihal: You've got to be kidding? This month? They haven't even done most of the June or July CSC to TSC transfers have they? Since my NOA1 is August 6, then I will look for my NOA2 in late January or early February.

CSC shouldn't have sat on the 3 month block for 3 to 5 months before they decided to unload them to Texas. But my good wife in Indonesia says, "There is a reason in God's plan for this delay"!!! I can't argue with that. I must be patient.

Personal Info:

flew to Indonesia in Feb. 2010 for 2 weeks

back to Jakarta on June 15 to prepare for:

Marriage on July 4, 2010 in Semarang, Java

120 Indonesian relatives at garden restaurant reception

USCIS:

08/06/2010 *I-130 NOA1

I've not given up hope at all. I know my petition is going to be approved and I know that it will be before Christmas. Don't ever lose hope!

Thanks for the positive thoughts Saylin. I certainly hope it is before Christmas and since our 5 month mark is Jan, I will definitely hope and pray for it, but I won't "plan" on it.

I really appreciate your positive attitude. I, like everyone else, is frustrated and this is a great place to come for "support". All the USCIS bashing and negative energy on this site lately has actually made me depressed and not wanting to even look at it. Your posting was the first breath of fresh air I have read in a long time.

I am very sad and frustrated with waiting this out and since we have limited control, I do what I can and leave the rest in God's hands. We definitely will be approved and I anxiously await that day. Due to finances, my husband and I have been physically separated for waaaaay to long. We talk on the phone and Skype daily but we need to be together (permanently) as soon as possible!

We are making plans for me to go to Egypt in Jan or Feb depending on my work schedule. Having been away a long time, it will be the most wonderful reunion I can imagine. Even though he will know I am coming, I plan to contact his family and make arrangements to arrive a day or two before he expects me and just "be there" when he comes home that day. This seems so fun and romantic to me and keeping that picture in my mind gives me hope and makes me smile.

August filers - I would love to hear some of your reunion plans and or encouraging stories. Please post.

PS - to the best of my knowledge my husband does not use this website so hopefully my surprise will remain a secret.

Nile, start "planning" on getting it before Christmas. It will happen if you believe :)

I've also noticed the negative energy, especially in the CSC to TSC thread. People seem to have lost hope. But one should never lose hope, ever. Always keep a positive attitude and know that the NOA2 will arrive before the end of the year.

And I have to say, I love your plan about surprising your husband! That sounds absolutely amazing! It will be a joyous reunion indeed!

My husband's coming to visit me here in Canada next week! He's going to arrive around midnight on Wednesday and then leave Sunday. I can't wait to be with him during our first Christmas together :)

I'm glad the August thread is back--I've missed you guys! I'm still sending good USCIS vibes...I hope they start working! Where is Matt & Evieve? They were one of the most prolific posters at the beginning, and very positive. Come back everyone!

Saylin - I agree about the negative energy on the CSC to TSC thread also. These are the 2 main threads I like to follow regularily so I'm glad we (the August files) are at least back on track with the positive energy. :)

I am happy for you and your husbands upcoming Christmas together. Enjoy every minute. I know you will.

Depends which consulate you are going to have your interview. I'll be having it at Montreal and the backlog is currently around 5 months, so even if I get approved today, finish NVC tomorrow, I still won't have an interview date by March. no0pb.gif

Thanks for remembering me, Kikapoo! I'm still here. I am still reading all of the posts here. It is just made me sad that we didn't get any news from USCIS yet. :( I'm on a vacation right now to somehow forget the stress of the waiting. We are staying positive though that we are going to get it this month, God willing.

I'm so happy to see your progress in your NVC. All the best in the rest of the process! :)
