getting touched doesnt mean anything, a lot of people get approved and go through the process without there case ever being updated on the website.

you all should check britishexpats.com its the best website for visa stuff, go to the right forum, and you will see what i mean.

As I implied earlier in the thread, I know that it doesn't mean anything. It's really more for my own psychological benefit. Nothing wrong with that!

Some people get first touch and then later a week maybe approval, so maybe touches mean something. When you get

a touch, that means they're working with your case, at least in theory :star:

well I was simply saying that not all people get touches on the website, or updates.

So just because your case hasn't been 'touched' on-line, does not mean that your case is not being looked at.

and still no one has answered my question on why there are no processing times for texas on this website, I assume people on here have been processed by texas in the past, and there should be some updated info like there is for california and vermont.

There's no processing times for Texas since they haven't processed I-130s I'm guessing in a really long time. It's been California and Vermont for quite awhile now.

This should give us hope. Check this link http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=677790&page=11 and you'll find August filers who has been approved. Whew. Hope all of us here will be starting to get our approvals soon.

Don't be confused, those people sent there I-130 via DCF filing, which is different from how most of us here have filed.

They have filed straight to the consulate (Direct Consular Filing) because there US spouse is eligible to do so, most of us here are doing the long wait, where we sent it to USCIS.

and DCF is a lot faster to process, that is why those august filers have had approvals.

You might want to check it first. The topic title just says it and not all who are posting there are on DCF.

I checked last week, the receipt numbers above and below ours (this game is sometimes frustrating), there were two who got approved. So my question, what's happening with our papers??? I wanna hear someone get approved here.
