I saw that too! I'm secretly hoping that I'll get one of those letters in the mail on Monday ;-).

I personaly don't think getting transferred or not, at this point, is going to make a change in the time anymore. Cause at least 2 months of files have been transferred to Texas and they were processing early Junes in California. So once they finish Junes in California I am ONLY guessing that they will go on with Septembers (if they don't transfer them) So either way we will all make it in 5 months :)

Deep down I think you're absolutely right...I think it's just the desire to see that my file is doing SOMEthing, and hasn't been lost or forgotten. I hope that, no matter what happens, this works in all of our favor!

Personally, I think this mass transfer is good for both those still at CSC and those transferred to TSC. Texas doesn't usually petition these spousal visas, so the processing time might be less. Plus, with all these transfers, there will be less petitions at California to get processed, so reduced waiting time. There's already been dozens of people on VJ transferred, let alone those not on VJ. So, there's all those petitions now not in front of ours at CSC.

Trying to stay positive about all this and that it won't indeed take 5 months.

If Texans aren't used to process these spousal visas it will taken them much longer than CA ... Imagine if the employees need to read and follow some sort of manual??

We also got transferred to Texas , I guess some news is better than no news.. it had been 2 and half months since it was last touched.

Just out of curiosity, how do it work for the taxes at the end of the year?

I hate Sundays now--no approvals on VJ that I can live vicariously through. Here's hoping for a big week (approval-wise)!!!

I'm going to the city tomorrow to get my police clearance certificate for NVC. And wait, we don't have the NOA2 yet. I just want to get it ahead so I can send it soon to Matt for NVC process soon. We are hoping to get NOA2 this month. Hoping and praying.

God bless to all our papers!

getting touched doesnt mean anything, a lot of people get approved and go through the process without there case ever being updated on the website.

you all should check britishexpats.com its the best website for visa stuff, go to the right forum, and you will see what i mean.
