They promised to adjudicate about 750000 applications by the end of the year I think, so

there is a hope that they will work faster, at least this is what I hope for :star:

That's what I kept telling myself at first, bc I think that statement came out around the time that we first filed...but then NOTHING was happening at CSC for like 2-3 months! So I kind of gave up hope. Oh well, no matter now, because...

CALIFORNIA IS MOVING!!!

Actually, my ticker thing is fine. It hasn't been two months yet. My NOA1 was on September 2nd, so my ticker won't change until it hits November 2nd. October has like 4 weeks and 3 days in it, so everything is fine. Hehe. :)

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't put an update here. I did in another's thread. And yea, it was denied. :( It's okay though. We're running to third month now. I hope November is our month. The receipt numbers above and below ours got their approvals last month. I counted, a total of 14. These petitioners has the same NOA1 date as mine. I hope VSC will continue to approve August filers in this month.

I got the notice as well. Mine has moved to Texas on November 2. Some July filers were also moved to Texas as well. California is backed up and I hope they weren't busy in Texas. Think of it like you go to the supermarket the lines are long and they open a new register and now the line is much shorter :)

For those that got transferred to Texas, I suggest looking at this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/281110-california-service-center-to-texas-service-center/

Pay attention to posts #8 and #15 on the first page.

For those still stuck at CSC, some possibly good news (taken from post #15): "It should cause everything to speed up. If you look at the trends at the CSC, they received quite a few petitions in March and April which would explain why it seemed to take forever to get through these. May things started trending down and June/July were down quite a bit. Based on this alone, the process should start picking up again for the June/July/August filers. Adding the TSC manpower in to the mix will speed it up even more."
