Though there is a particularly delicious feeling that comes from being passed in the slow chain zone by some entitled ####### in a Cayenne, only to come upon him a mile later, spun out backwards in the snow off the road. I have nothing but love for Porsches (well, except the Cayenne), but that guy was a douche and had it coming.

I'm a car person and no one ever says any of this sh*t to me? If they did I wouldn't really care cos it's just their opinion.

When it comes to people driving a manual car, I think it really only matters if they buy a sports car with an automatic. That's silly.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

"I don't know why you got that thing, you don't need it. It's too big!" I'm sure you hate putting gas in that!"

True, do I need a full size quad cab 4X4? No! Do I want one? YES. That's all that matters. It's what I want and the only thing I'd ever buy. Though my next truck might just be a super duty----because I want one!

Some look only at cars to get from point A to point B in, and of those some feel everyone else should see cars the same way. we have choices. They made theirs, and I made mine. I'm happy with my choice. Of course where I live everyone seems to drive these so comments like those aren't very common at all here. As for older vehicles, I sure would like an old early bronco to build up as a toy because, well, I want one.

It's ironic when people who buy large gas guzzling vehicles (they usually don't need) and then turn around and complain about how much they spend on gas.

i like 5 - but - I've been driving volvo wagons since age 22, and never got hit whilst driving one (oh - I did hit someone, once, but it was me).

There's something really brick-ish about driving a volvo wagon, and good lord ! can carry a refrigerator in the back !

Yay! I had 2 old Volvos, one a wagon. They ran forever, loved them. :D

16 mpg is actually pretty good for me. I hit 20 on my 2 wheel drive 4.7 ram and was extatic(sp???). Then I traded it in on a 4x4 and went to 14/17 then leveled the front and upped the tires. now it's 13 + 10% all around (pretty good to me). All I've ever driven so I'm pretty used to it so it doesn't bother me one bit. Still drive all over. Tried the 30 mpg car for a few month's years ago, but that was only while dropping a 460 into my bronco.

Bought an old gas trooper while in Costa Rica a few years ago and everyone said I'd hate the milage. However, all I've been accustomed too were full size v/8's in the states. That little 3.0 or whatever it was in that little trooper did real good for me milage wise. drove all over the country in it. Gas milage is all relative to what your used to.
