Bank letter problem

My co-sponsor said that her bank will give her a letter stating when she opened her bank account and what her balance is now but said "there is no way we can list all the deposits" I know they obviously want to see the deposits in the last year. So now what? I don't know if she is going to want to give them copies of her bank statements showing everything coming and going and I don't think she should have to. What do we do about this problem?

I haven't talked to my bank yet so I have to see what they will and won't do for me as well.

If you can't get the requested letter from the bank you will need to submit bank statements for sure! go through them and highlight the deposits add them up yourself and have this notarized (thats what i would do ) Vancouver consulate requested the bank letter AND the last year of statements. Unfortunately during this process we have to do things we don't want to do. Your Consulate decides what you have to do period. Good Luck

PS: I think ( if i'm not mistaken ) The co-sponsor may submit the I-134 and evidence directly to the consulate to keep it private .. you will have to check and see

Our bank provided a total of the deposits for the year, not an itemized amount, along with the average balances for each account, and the existing balance as of that date. They also charged us $50 for the ssingle page.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

For what it's worth, my bank just stated the average monthly deposits, since I deposited more than the direct deposit of my salary. It stated that I have an account there, what my current balance was, and that an average amount of $XXXX was my monthly deposit/balance.

Hope that helps. :)

ok she can go online thru her bank and get her deposits. i printed out my statements for the past year and highlighted my monthly deposits and totaled them up for my bank. they added them up and they typed me the letter. its no big deal so dont worry.
