Eggs, Eggs, and More Eggs. The FDA's Power Grab?

Salmonella and its toxic metabolites tend to survive most egg preparations.

Come on now Hal, you know these "facts" mean nothing to paul. He is a self proclaimed constitutional scholar because he reads, so there is nothing that would lead me to believe that he is not an expert in food supply and biology. Clearly, the FDA is trying to use this recall so that they can replace the eggs with genetically engineered eggs that they have produced and filled with mind control agents to control the populace and force them to vote for a kenyan born muslim for a second term. Duh, didn't you hear about the Libs 2012 presidential strategy?

Here is a short list of food with raw or undercooked eggs:

• Cake batter

• Cookie dough

• Some ice creams

• Steak tartare

• Caesar dressing

• Bearnaise sauce

• Hollandaise

• Homemade mayonnaise

• Aoli

• Eggnog

• Mousse

• Egg white cocktails like a Ramos Gin Fizz

• Tiramisu

• Meringue

Eh, it's the yolk that is considered a salmonella risk--which eliminates meringue and egg-white-cocktails from the list.

(also, the sheer amount of alcohol needed to make the egg-white-cocktail drinkable at all would probably be an effective disinfectant ;))

Paul is a bit like you guys on other topics, the facts are staring him in the face but he still prefers to take the conspiracy route.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Dry meringue shells, divinity candy, and 7-minute frosting are safe — these are made by combining hot sugar syrup with beaten egg whites. However, avoid icing recipes using uncooked eggs or egg whites.

Meringue-topped pies should be safe if baked at 350 °F for about 15 minutes. But avoid chiffon pies and fruit whips made with raw, beaten egg whites — instead, substitute pasteurized dried egg whites, whipped cream, or a whipped topping.

Couldn't find anything about the cocktails though.

Ironically salmonella toxins can affect the central nervous system down to lipid metabolism. Remember you need your fats to keep saltatory conduction in them neurons going. And anyone with any neurological conditions, psychoses likely included, may be affected by these toxins.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
