Find me any discusison I have had that is based on reasoning along the lines of [insert finger into ears] sing country of immigrants. I take a pragmatic and objective stance in every argument. It's why I have pretty-much argued with everyone at one time or another on a topic.

Here's the thing BY - and I'm sorry but you have to hear your own words again, but it's entirely relevant. Here's how:

You have suggested in the past that blacks and hispanic USCs should not enjoy the full measure of the rights accorded to them under the constitution and bill of rights. That amounts to an act of collective punishment against an entire group for the actions of what you perceive to be criminal elements in their midst.

You have tonight repeatedly suggested much the same against muslim USCs who want to build a mosque in downtown Manhattan.

This is a pattern of behaviour. And yes - it is bigoted. If that irritates you, I suggest that a measure of self-awareness on your part is required.

The following Moderation findings apply:

The thread was started in an attempt to end the never ending debate.

That failing, it digressed into a debate between several members about race related issues, among other topics.

Although we perceived no direct personal attacks, there were significant racial undertones delivered into the thread.

As an aside, members need to realize that VJ membership is open to everyone, until the site Administrator decides otherwise. Please discontinue passing judgment and suggesting that members should quit VJ.
