Hello to all :)

i am the petitioner,( K1 ) I am in the first stages of all the k1 paperwork etc... and was wondering if someone can put my mind at ease about somthing my fiancee and i have been worried about ... it has to do with her medical exam that will happen at a later point af ocurse....

okay , so she does not have any communicable disease or anything like that , however , when she was born 25 years ago, she had a tumor , and now it is considered "benign" so, it's totally fine and has not been a problem for years ... but she does have to go to a clinic or doctor atleast once a year to make sure the tumor has not come back.. so she has some issues at times, and her family pays for any and all insurance necessary for any of mer medical problems ... but no disease or anything that can be "contageous" or anything like that ... does anyone know or think this would cause a "denial" of the k1 visa ,when they do the medical exam ??

Thank you so much to anyone that can give me some answers ...

Peace -

I think all they look for in the medical exam is communicable illness. Since a tumor is not contagious and in your fiancée’s case it's benign, I believe that it will not present any problems.

I should say that what I said above is based on logic and not from experience. I'm sure others can give you something more concrete.

Why would and should they deny it because of that? Do they deny diabetes, asthma...patients the right to get their visa? No..

Don't worry!

(PS my wife is sick and we are going to take a letter to the embassy to prove she will have health insurance (...AOS..))
