that and we have no credit rating LOL, feels sometimes like we were just born !!! kinda neat..i mean if you are like me and dont want to associate much with former life family etc..fresh start indeed!

Or if you're like me and have no problems ditching your credit rating! :lol: (It wasn't that bad, just not really good)

Ah ha...see I lived in the US last year for 6 months and have a SSN and have a credit rating now.... So I wonder what I'll need to to once I get there. Go to SSN with marriage certificate and get my name changed?

Exactly. Take your marriage license and immigration documents down to the SSN office and have your name changed on the card. I'm not sure if this is state specific, but here in CO you can't change your name on any government ID, without first showing an SSN card in your married name. The SSN is the first step, and then it's really pretty easy after that.
