My fiancee was denied her visa on the first interview.

we decided to apply again.

I currious if the second attempt will be the same process.

Last year her interview was sch a month in advance.

She just sent the first packet yesterday.

how many more packets will she recive?

and about how long will it take before her interview?

Im guessing it will be in october. but Im not sure.

I hope they will scheduel it in advance and not spring it on us.

thanks.

Craig.

Why did it get denied the first time? If thats not corrected they will just deny it again.. Hard to help with answers when we don't have all the info.

I-129F is the same thing the second time as the first time, all the same forms, all the same cost, all the same packets, all the same waiting. Unless she is denied again for the same reason as the first one but early on in the application.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

she was denied the first time for failer to prove a valid relationship.

But this time we have 10 times the amount of proof.

I just want to be sure they give us enough notice for the interview.

Because this time. I will acompany with her.

so I want to be able to have enough time to take off from work.

thanks.

Craig.

It could be very different. There have been several postings about what USCIS does when it is the second application for the same beneficiary after the visa was denied the first time.

The USCIS might go and investigate or adjudicate based on the Embassy's findings. In other words they might issue an RFE for Evidence of a bona fide relationship. Or they might just follow the usual course.

Good luck.

Edited to add: Also change up and add extra things that aren't always included in the Evidence of a Relationship. Is she in English School. Have you been sending her money for the classes. Have you searched the web for flower delivery services in her city. Can you send flowers or a gift for a special occassion or no occassion at all.

Try to do more than email, chat log, pictures from first visit.

I say is time to start yer 'dialing for dollars ' campaign, Craig -

see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

Dodi posted who to call and how,

I posted 'what you can get'

pay attention between 'packet 3 received at GUZ IV' and 'packet 4 sent out' dates

as the interview date will be set , about 1 week prior to the packet 4 leaving GUZ IV mailroom.

DoS hotline will know it - so if you call

you will know before she receives the packet 4.

Good Luck !
