Do i have to submit Original PCC to VFS office?

Hello guys. I did not sent my original PCC with DS-230 package. I sent them a copy of my PCC. so my question is Do i have to submit Original PCC to local VFS office or i can just take it to the interview?

I know i have to submit my medical report and pay the carrier fee before interview. But do i also have to submit original PCC? or its ok to take it to he interview? please help!!

You should have sent the original or a certified copy. I'm afraid a regular copy won't do. But maybe they'll not notice...

IV Bill Shows Paid! : 8/23/2010 (just waitin for the docs from my wife now) should be here next week!

IV Package Sent Finally: 9/04/2010 (due to arrive 9/7)

Received checklist : 9/06/2010 (they are looking for the IV package) hmmm, ummm, I KNOW! So was I!

IV Package on AVR : 9/10/2010

Received Checklist 9/28/2010 (said PCC not in correct format)

Case Complete 10/13/2010 ( have not received replacement PCC from wife yet to send into NVC, How can this be?) I'm not complaining!

Interview 11/08/2010

PS As of 9/11/2010, USCIS website still not updated, shows NOA-1 date and... blah blah blah. don't count on them folks.

Documents do not need to be translated if they are in either english OR the official language of the country the beneficiary lives in. :)

NVC does not require Original or Certified PCC anymore. They are OK with copy. You can submit original at the time of interview. i called them and thats waht they tolm me.

for japan you could not make a copy because it is sealed only to be opened by the embassy.

pretty sure you need to send the original.

well i dont have the link but i called NVC and the operator told me. I did not send the original PCC. i only sent the Copy and they accept it. Maybe its diffrent from countries. In order to get PCC in India, you need to have an interview Letter. So maybe thats why..

don't trust what NVC operators say. they are full of inaccuracies.

they told me all sorts of wrong information when i called on multiple occasions.

i say send originals regardless of what they said.

re: PCC original at VFS -

uhm - it depends on which VFS office you are 'homed to' - you must follow THEIR RULES -

but

mostly

PCC copy showed at VFS, original handed over on interview day,

if

no original submitted to NVC (this is specific to India, only)

Yes, submit your original PCC to VFS, if you hadn't submitted already to NVC.

If they DO complete your case, then yes, the original PCC can be submitted to VFS.

In all likelihood, you will be RFEd for that PCC.
