You MUST correct this issue. If they discover any intentional misrepresentation then you can be banned for life without the possibility of getting a waiver.

The DS-230 isn't signed yet so you can correct it. In fact they should ask you to review it to make sure it's correct before you sign it.

already talk to a lawyer, and he too advise to correct the mistake at the embassy, my question now is, when do they let you sign the ds230? after interview with the pre screener or when the CO is finish asking the questions? i need to instuct my wife when to let them know that there is missing info on the ds230..
