I do agree wih her but I also acknowledge she probably has a better understanding and in a better position to state what we believe. I would not dismiss her because she was a pageant winner or based on looks.

Not discrediting your intelligence but are you 100% sure she is not your equal in intelligence and could not formulate an arguement based on her own heritage, believes and education?

I don't know what her IQ or education level is, but she's in a media event beauty contest - that's not exactly a way of advertising smarts is it. More importantly, it's not a venue for expressing complex opinions beyond one-liner soundbites for the cameras.

PS I cannot be a bigot as outside the US I have more Arabic and Muslim friends, than most posters have spouse from those regions. Surely if I was a bigot then they would not talk to me, nor their families invite me into their homes.
