Immigration Phone Call??

Today I received a phone call from a person claiming to be from usisc. Explaining to me how much I must pay for being a petitioner and asking when did I file my app. I found it kind of strange...it was like they hadn't received anything from me and they just wanted to make sure that I was petitioning for a K-1 visa. She checked my satatus and then stated to me "ok we'll get back to you in a couple of days". and hangs up. Anyone ever had something like this??

I never had that happen... that is VERY strange :unsure:

That is very strange. I've never heard of the USCIS calling anyone that hadn't called them first with an inquiry. How long has your petition been there?

Its been there a little over three months. I did call them earlier to find out if they had received my RFE that they asked for. I also thought the same thing like what "Nicole-N-Nattoy" said about a fraud wanting me to send money. No offense to anyone but, the person on the phone did sound like they were the one needing to be applying for a visa.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
