Hey guys

This is G (beneficiary).. I am getting everything ready to take to my interview and I just want to make sure I have everything I need for Proof of ongoing relationship, I just dont want to miss anything... this is what I will include

PHONE LOGS..

Im including three phone bills with my mothers name on it because our landphone was on her name with our old address, it has her number but most calls last only one minute because I would call and my fiance would call me back using international phone calls... there were a few times that I talked like 30 minutes or so though.. they are back from 2008 and one from 2010

now we are using MAGIC JACK, sadly I cant get phone history from Magic jack but I'm including a receipt from when my fiance bought it for me and paid for a 2 years plan so we could talk and it has her name and address on it

(I worry a bit about phone logs cuz I feel we dont have enough phone receipts to prove we talk only 3 and the magicjack receipt :( .. do you think we are okay?)

LETTERS

Im including

4 letters with the enveloped she sent them in and tehy were stamp by the post office, they are from the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.... I only included four with envelops because after she sent a few more that got lost (our mail service sucks) she decided to keep writing but give them to me when shed come.. so im including 20 letters she wrote for me but without envelops or mail stamps... I included two claps envelops tho where she sent me other stuff and it also has mail stamps form back in 2006.. I have over 40 letters more lol.. should I include more? lol

CHAT LOGS

I did screen shots of gmail chats from 2006 till 2010 but it only shows like previews of conversations and dates no more.. do you think I should include one or two actual conversations? I also included screen shots of emails and included some emails

PHOTOS

Im including the pictures she sent with Package I29-F plus 5 pictures that were not submitted before (should I include more?)

BOARDING TICKETS

My fiance is bringing her 3 boarding tickets from when she came here before, plus her 4th one cuz she is coming in 9 days :D to attend the interview with me.. so ill give them her passport so they can see the stamps on it

ANyway.. am I missing anything??? Im trying to find the engagement ring receipt but not luck so far!.. if you guys think of anything else I could include or anything im missing then itwould be really appreciate.. Im just 10 days away from the interview and im already freakng out.. I dont want to miss anything :P

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

You should make it easy for the interviewing officer to see the sequence of the relationship, by organizing your package as much as possible. I would include color copies of your photos ON THE SAME PAGE as copies of the boarding passes and copies of the pages in her passport with the immigration stamps for each particular visits. The fact that you have had such a long relationship (even though there are long lags in the timeline, which you could chalk up to your youthfulness) is beneficial. The jury is out as far as whether or not the US Petitioner should attend the interview (theoretically it is not necessary), but in genuine relationships, I think most VJ posters would encourage it and say it can only help. So, her being there will be a plus.

One more thing you might consider is including an updated letter from the petitioner reaffirming her love and relationship (as was required in your initial I-129 package). If any of your photos show you with family, that would be helpful (it implies a family knowledge and acceptance). Our interview in Bogota was one question (the interviewer had already gone through our paperwork): "So, you saw each other 14 times in 18 months?", to which my fiance replied "yes" and the interviewer said "OK, visa granted".

It sounds like you have enough to me. More is always better. Money transfer reciepts, emails, facebook/myspace messages, letters from family stating your relationship noterized(this is not required) when she comes in 9 days take more pics, motel reciepts, have her bring any proof she may have. I hear that a lot of times they don't even ask to see ongoing relationship proof, but better safe than sorry. Thats all I can think of... :)

This could be the most important factor of all, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

14 times in 18 months?? That's crazy! You must know someone that works for an airline or something!

That is the best evidence!! your petitioner traveling to see the beneficiary. I have made 8 trips since last May 2009.. I was not a fan of going to the interview, but I think it's really good if you do. I also made copies of all my passport pages with every stamp of arrival & departure and had them notarized...

Actually, I own my own company and I am in International Business Development and had contacts in Colombia. Plus, I am able to be almost as effecient out of my office as when I am there as long as I have a broadband connection. So, I was fortunate to be able to combine business with getting all my work done, which I guess might not be an option for many people. But I would say that they would have a VERY difficult time questioning that a geniune relationship occurred with that many visits, especially because we also had an engagement party with her whole family present (and photos of that event were included).
