When I apply for AP together with my AOS, do I need to specify exactly where and when I want to travel abroad?

At the moment I have no plans to travel anywhere, but I could always want/need to go back home.

Do I need to specify exactly my future travels or can I use the AP document for whatever international travels I decide to take?

In this case, what should I indicate as date and destination of intended travel, as well as purpose of travel?

Mine was like this:

1- Date of intended departure

(to be determined)

2- Expect length of trip

(to be determined)

I had no problem with that, so I think you don't need to specify a date.

I wrote "unknown" for both. The reason being "to be determined" implies you're planning a trip but haven't decided when. "Unknown" implies nothing.

Either way people have not had issues with either that i've seen.

No you don't need to specify.

Yes you can use it for whatever international travel

If you're talking about Part 4 for purpose of travel then please read the form again. After Part 3, Qn 3 it tells you "if applying for Advanced Parole, continue to Part 7" Then if you read the instructions regarding Part 7 you will see that as you are filing the AP document with AOS then you don't need to attach anything to explain circumstances that warrant it's issuance... (which is what part 7 says).

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to " Working & Traveling During US Immigration" as this is relating to AP**
