9/11 was not a conflict. It was however a tragic act of terrorism.

In all of those locations its about land and government. With regards to 9/11, the goal was to pull the US fully into the middle east conflict. Well it worked.

If you think the India/Pakistan conflict is entirely about land and government, then you don't know Indians and Pakistanis too well.

So now we have nine examples.... we're getting closer to connecting all 1.8 Billion.

Maybe, but can one say that it is simply down to muslim aggression? I think not.

No, they have involved countries that have large populations of muslims - that in no way means that the muslim religion is the driving force behind these conflicts.

Okay, I'll put this one down on the your coincidence list as well.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

How so? Wasn't most of the conflict tied to the possession of Kashmir?

1.5 billion actually.

Out of all the major conflicts in recent history, what percentage involves Islamic followers in some way? Versus Buddhist, Hindus, or Christians.

Yeah that's just a coincidence right...

Who said that I am not appalled by terrorism? I mean, honestly, how can one compare terrorist acts to negatively describing a population? To say "terrorism is appalling" is quite the understatement. Can we stick to subject at hand then?

What is this line of reasoning? That one cannot be critical of negative stereotyping if there are instances where the stereotype is true? Ludicrous.

It's not a population or a race, it's an ideology that plagues the core of the religion. The notes these terrorist have left behind clearly illustrate that they believe this is a fight for Islam. I think I'll listen to their words, rather than why you guys think they did it.

Whether everyone in a religion thinks like this or not, is not my problem. Some of you guys are willing to end up collateral damage, I am not. I don't need to wait for a nuke to say, hey there is a problem.

Because the US military and other international government agencies have kept these terrorist running for their lives, you guys falsely assume it's just an isolated incident; fabricated by those RWN. Perhaps if your child was in that Russian school, then you would wake up and realize this is an ideology - a century old movement.

Islam does not have a history of getting along well with others and that is fact.

I think if some people would experience a different side of Islam, then they might not be so narrow minded (I hesitate to say "different" side since that implies that there is an "other" side, a terrorist side or what have you). My view of Islam does not come from the news.

Every day my mother-in-law gets up at 3:30 am to say her prayers. She eagerly awaits the call to prayer at four other times of day so that she can say her prayers then as well. She carries her prayer beads with her everywhere and whenever she has a spare moment is reciting prayers or reading the Q'uran. Now prayer is not my thing and to be quite honest it seems excessive and like a waste of time to me, but dangerous? Hardly. Is this the ideology you speak of? If you're talking about the radicalization of certain segments of Muslims, I don't think that anyone denies that it happens and it is a problem. But to lump the rest of Islam's followers with these people is just wrong.

BY can and will lump them all together because the collateral damage is 'not his problem'. BY obviously believes the hysteria that it is the muslim ideology that is to blame, not those follows who use it to further their own agendas - it would be the same as blaming christian ideology for the actions of Richard the Lionheart.
