HI all

Please help on I-864 I am a petitioner but i can not sponsor my husband but i have friend going to sponser him and sign I864

Do I have to fill the same form and file my tax return too (form I-864)?

Or he will fill it and I dont need to

You are the original sponsor and you have to give the information...fill the form and the tax information...besides your friend... so Yes you and your friend have to do the same stuff... hope that helped someone seeing as this is quite an old post... Good luck to everyone

You ae the sponsor and need the same forms, as well as your friend. Take some time and reread the requirements it is better to get organized than get a RFE. Good Luck.
