oh my God. So someone or some people have gone through this same thing and pulled through. My k1-visa was approved on august 19th 2010 and i was asked to pick up the visa on 26th a week after but believe you me ,it was not ready on that 26th and even on Friday 27th. I was told to call the collection center today instead of coming to Lagos and not getting the passport. I called today and my name was not in the list of passports that was sent to the collection center. I began to wonder if anything has gone wrong any where until i came here and found out that some people have encountered the same delay. oh what a relieve to know that it will finally be released. Thank you for keeping this site updated. thank you Nwanyioma, i have been inspired by your journey so far on this. love you all:innocent:

OMG I hope you get your passport soon...have you tried going back to the consulate like one of the previous post said there fiance had to do?

It is going to be ok,just keep believing. I was so scared during mine, but I wa totally optimistic about the outcome and it works. My babies are on the way, they should be here in 18.5 hours.... the clock is ticking!

i am having the same problem Employment based green card, Consular processing in Lagos

Interview was on Nov 29th 2010 successful

1st pick up date Dec 7th 2010 Not Ready

2nd pick up date Dec 10th 2010 Not ready

3rd pick up date Dec 14th 2010 Not Ready

4th pick up date Dec 17th 2010

If it is not available on the 17th i will have to go to the consulate office, does anyone have any tips on going to the consulate office since they do not take walk in inquires

We had the same issue on the K1, as long as there is no Administrative review going on, you will get it.

Ours took almost 1 month.

Go to the consulate if you do not get it on the 17th, I believe inquires are now at 10 or 11am.

Take your visa issuance letter with you when you go.

Typically, if there are any issues, if they have your phone on record they will attempt to call you - No worries, sometimes it just is - Oh also send them an inquiry email after the 17th
