Hello all! My fiancee will have her medical exam at St. Lukes next week. I'm confused about the vaccine requirements for K-1 applicant. I read the list of vaccines is: * Hepatitis A

* Hepatitis B

* Influenza

* Influenza type b (Hib)

* Measles

* Meningococcal

* Mumps

* Pneumococcal

* Pertussis

* Polio

* Rotavirus

* Rubella

* Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids

* Varicella

Does she really need to have all of these vaccines before she apply for Adjustment of Status? Also will she get the vaccines during her medical at St. Lukes? Obviously a person can not get all of those vaccines in one day. I'm confused about this.

Thank you so much in advance :)

Vaccines are age appropriate and determined by the medical doctor at the time of her medical.

you should contact the embassy doctor and ask what vaccines are required for your age and then go to the hospital and get them prior the interview. I'm not sure how things work in your country but I got mine for free at the hospital, if I didnt get them prior my medical exam, I would have had to pay the embassy doctor like 300 dollars in vaccine shots lol

Your vaccincations are included with the cost of the medical exam in St. Luke's. You will return the follwoing day after your exam for vaccinations. Do not get vaccinations before your medical. Just a waste of money.

I dont think so...she should take her vaccination card with her or go to a medical center to take them in advance at a cheaper cost.......they give vacs. acording to age, sex ect.

So im sure she dont need all of them.

All thos shots are required for immigration. If she is missing any she will need to get some if it is in her age group. None of thos shots are gender specific they are only age specific.

It depends on age She will get..

1.TDap(Tetanus,Diphtheria and pertussis)

2.MMR(Measles,Mumps and Rubella)

3.Varicella(IF she had chickenpox in her past she won't get it)

4.HPV( she might)

It will totally depend on physician's decision.

Some Physicians give TDap,MMR and varicella in a day,some maintain gap of one month between TDap,MMR and Varicella.

Talk to your Physician before one and half month for better answer!

Hey .. My Fiance' just took his medical in London and his vaccination card was missing measles therefore he had to pay for his vaccination and take it that day. It made him a little sick and gave him a fever. I would definitely check the age requirements and the side effects of the vaccine. best of luck !!
