Anyone from New Delhi applying for K3??

It seems that New Delhi processes the K3 differently than the rest of the embassies in India. For a K3, they are asking for a DS-230 part I to be filled-out. Then, on their website, after digging through all the literature, there is something about stapling a photograph in the top left square of the form.

Has anyone from Delhi gone through this step yet? After your case got to New Delhi, did you send in a DS-230 part I (with or without a photograph), then get an interview date?

Please share your experience -- this is too confusing.

I am processing through New Delhi India and my info was just sent to Delhi on August 11. My husband has not recd anything yet. Did ND embassy contact you on phone ?

Hey -- ND consulate sent my wife a packet 3. It's been almost 2 weeks and she has not gotten packet 3, so they recommended that she she mail in the DS-230 Part I (which she did yesterday). After receiving the DS-230 part 1, the consulate will then send out an interview letter.

Alternatively, your husband can also go to ND consulate (counter 17) and submit the DS-230 if he wants to speed things up.

If your husband does go to ND, ask him to smack the operator (ext 8000) upside the head from my side for rudely hanging up on me about a hundred times and not listening to my entire question, and transferring me to a line where there is nobody on the other side. That too when it is midnight in the CONUS.
