There are families of 9/11 victims who are for Park 51. There is no unanimous condemnation from them by any means.

I never said otherwise.

Everyone else isn't "in pain", just bigoted.

No they're not.

Ok, even I had to laugh at this because it's so true.

Sorry BY, but when AJ is spot-on, he's spot-on!

Though I enjoy charts... lol.

Why is a chart or something to illustrate a point a joke? If I said to you Texas had the best heath care, surely I would be able to provide a chart to illustrate this point. Furthermore, this is a forum, so a chart is more than enough to illustrate a point.

First posts are opinion oriented or anecdotal, yet providing data to support one's point becomes a joke. If people are not interested in a discussion, then why even enter a thread? A.J has a history of coming here and simply mocking people, than actually discussing anything. Seems to assume Ha ha you're an idiot or sarcasm is being a legitimate post.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I'm still not understanding the prices I guess.

I found this which seems to be in the city centre.

http://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-nsw-sydney-106766368

In US dollars that's about 310,000.

A new idiocy rising as Sydney home prices set to double

Whos pretending, not me. I have seen some of the yahoos your talking about but this isnt everyone.

Would it really kill them to move the Mosque somewhere else. I gave Cindy Sheehan some slack and I will give these people some slack.

Why should they even consider it, even if it was feasible, which I'll lay odds it is not because these people live and work in that area? Why is it unreasonable for them to be able to live, work and worship in that same area in the way that every other religious denomination is able so to do? You are asking people who need space in that particular locale to relocate to some place else; no matter to what inconvenience that would place on them to do so, just because some people are ignorant of what a mosque represents. It doesn't seem reasonable to me, nor does it seem tolerant and accepting of religious freedom and diversity and it certainly does not seem to be the right response to an act of terrorism. "We'll show them, they terrorize us, we'll stop Americans from going about their normal business!" Hurrah!

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I agree with you. It's just you have more of a history of providing charts than anyone else on almost any subject... so it was fitting and kind of funny.

Nice opinion piece but that was in March, and prices have continued to grow. Their unemployment rate is close to 5% now. What's CA again? They also have professionals and skileld workers migrating there, not unskilled illegal aliens; hence the price and boom.

Reason being is that when I relied on my observations alone, I was ridiculed daily. Therefore, I just got used to backing my opinion with data.

No, what you did was post statistics and make meaningless claims as to what they might represent. Your favourite is your 'gang banger' theory. It was racist then and it would be racist now, if you decided to post the ethnic make up of gang members in order to illustrate how Black Americans and Mexicans are more likely to indulge in crime than white people.

So, you agree with the author's initial premise:

The Australian housing market is arguably one of the most corrupt, mismanaged, economically dumb, things on Earth.

The only difference is, California's bubble already burst...years before the rest of the country. What happens when the same happens down under?

So basically Japan was first in the early 90's, America in the late 2000's, and Australia somewhere in the next 5 years?

Not possible, they economy that is fueled by growth, not property bubbles. They are exporting billions in resources to China and other developing countries and have a controlled population; which means high salaries. How many blue-collar workers earn over $80K here? Not many, that's for sure.

The majority of gang bangers in the US being a minority might be irrelevant to yourself, but to the rest with a clue, it says a lot.

Isn't it a violation of the TOS to make hate comments about one's race, or ilk, like our resident supremacist has made so far?

Yes it is. If you see a post that appears to cross that line, press the report button under the item. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to read every post and thread.

Your type meaning people from the same region sharing the exact same views. That is not racist, that is the reality. I hear the same rhetoric from the same group.

Criticizing ideology, is not the same as racial profiling. And no, you call us multiple derogatory names, for coming from a specific part of the world, and then pile us up with the bad apples. You are (insert term), even if you came from Europe, and were purple skinned. Your race has no play in what you are as a person.

Did you really have to quote me to prove I'm a smartass???

Or did you do it just to (and I quote) cry to your mommy, or a mod???

I didn't say it was irrelevant, I said IT DOES NOT SUPPORT THE THEORY THAT BLACK AMERICANS AND MEXICANS ARE MORE LIKELY TO INDULGE IN CRIMINAL ACTIVITY THAN WHITE PEOPLE.

Would you like to prove how racist that is, once again?
