I'm bringing copies of my husband's tax returns, a filled out and signed I-864, and also a recent letter from his employer. I strongly suggest you bring the 2009 tax returns and updated letter!

What is this about an employer's letter? i never saw anything about that, we need that??

They closed your NVC case so you should be good but I would go to your HR and ask them to give you a letter verifying employment just to be safe . No cost and easy to do. Then email it to the one going for interview just in case it is discussed.

In Mintchip's case I suggested she brings it because the tax returns she has aren't that recent. However she will bring the most recent tax return and a recent employment letter. Just something to make sure she still has a job and she's making enough to support her husband.

In my case I'm just bringing it to cover all ends. I guess you don't "need" it, but it could help to have it.

Ladybug I hope you are kidding!! Lol did you read ling che's shortcuts? Seriously they will help you and speed things up for you!! Did you give nvc both your emails? That's the first thing you have to do. You can also send the DS3032 choice of agent email (template available in wiki) take a look!! Congrats and good luck!!!!

this is just a letter you get from your employee stating your position salary and the length of service.

Good Luck ! Knowing 'where you are' is always useful, and NVC Human can tell you (or yer USC Spouse) when ya ask the right questions.
