Ya i know that but this line confuses me, " However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining

processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will

receive a written decision on this case"

Any idea what that can may mean. Does it shorten my wait or increase it?

The wait time they estimated on your NOA1 will most likely be a little longer since you had a hard time getting the RFE.

Our RFE added a month to the 'usual' San Antonio processing times. That month was them sending the RFE, us gathering what we needed, sending it back to them and it making it's way to my file.

*Edit

I would think that now that they've received your RFE your EAD will be issued shortly. I believe the green card portion and the EAD portion are processed seperately.

Why would you have to do another medical???? it was less than 12 months from when you filed YES????

it is not worked out on when your interview is it is from when you file for AOS..... otherwise many more people would have to have another medical....
