Wow, sorry to hear about this. No advise, just a sincere wish that all will work out fine.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Jess,

If this is indeed the situation, I would think they couldn't hold it against you. The circumstances were not under your control. Try to relax and wait it out. Wish the best for you.

Tell Maria you heard good things about her from a former customer... :)

She was the least pleasant person we dealt with there, but that's her job. She *was* flexible with us about an "RFE" we got & let us fax the corrected doc to her with a promise to FedEx the original ASAP & she *did* turn the petition over to the visa unit without waiting for the FedEx.

I'd just email her weekly to let her know that you're still working on the case but are facing some, er, well known local problems. :)

Do they by any chance have an address for you in the US. If so they may have sent it to you there.

Athens is dealing with the Visas for Lebanon right now. Can you elaberate on that. I still have not heard from frankfurt and the senator still has no news.

Hey Jess what is your husband telling you about lebanon right now. PM me.

Another thing is I don't think they are dumb enough to send Mail to Lebanon now or before the war. What I would guess they would do is send it to the embassy in lebanon and they would call you.
