They're trying! They're trying oh so hard but it just ain't sinkin' in!

Yeah, so many do not understand. It makes me sad, and also makes me lose faith in humanity. :(

What happens? You are suggesting that all that US muslims have to do is keep an eye on each other and problem solved? That the fact that terrorists manage to achieve their aims means that some nice moderate muslim know something significant and fail to do anything about it? You do know that you are a bit nuts, right?

Your putting words in my mouth are whats a bit nuts.

It is a fact, I agree. Even the most radical terrorists have friends or family members who are moderates and must at least suspect they are up to no good.

Normally, no one suspects what their radical family members are up to. If they know their views are subversive they simply don't share them. We all know that the 'nice' muslims from good backgrounds who commit terrorists acts in the UK are not suspected by either their muslim relatives nor their work colleges or friends. That makes your theory pretty silly.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

You mean terrorists?

Domestic terrorists, sure. It's not too hard to imagine some Timothy McVeigh-like idiot

trying to blow up the mosque, so yes, they will need protection, and yes, billions of

dollars will be spent because they are just too stubborn to move it somewhere else.

:secret: Its easier just to call everyone a muslim hater.

Interpreting is all I have when what you supply is pictures. Again, care to actually make a point instead of posting pictures? You know, like the explanation of how one can be against the mosque and not bigoted, for example?

That's what they all say, but I don't buy it for a second.

The terrorists would go after the mosque pretty much anywhere.

Stubborn? Real estate is that easy to come by in that district? Good to know. Good to know also that people going about their ordinary business should have to accommodate bigots and fear mongering just to satisfy some idiotic rationale about 9/11 victim sensitivity and that justification can move from the sublime to the ridiculous in the suggestion that these dam stubborn muslims will be the cause of some future atrocity against themselves if they don't bow down to this idiotic rationale. Brilliant. Of course all this could be stopped if the bigoted idiots could be educated into understanding that muslim does not equal terrorist, nor should they be treated as if that equation is real.

That's what they all say, but I don't buy it for a second.

You do not have to buy anything, you don't have to believe it, but the evidence is against you.

Many Muslims are against the mosque. Are they all bigoted Muslim haters?

Why would they? There are lots of mosques in other parts of NYC and so far, not a single terrorist attack against them.

I have many times.

Where? I don't see anything but your banging on about how not all sensitivity in this subject is driven by bigotry, but not one word on how one can be sensitive without being bigoted. Again, explain it to me, nice and slowly.
