Never recieved NOA

Got biometrics notice online date for receipt June 5th

Few days later biometrics cancelled

Got another biometrica appt for July 16th

Waited.... congratulated all my fellow May filers

Congratulated all my June fellow filers

November... Stopped checking status online everyday (had been checking it even tho I had set up alerts)

Started calling 1-800 number .... (same response: we are putting in service request)

Started making the info pass apts & trips (same response: keep waiting)

Eventually spoke with a sincere IO on the 1-800 number who said she'd look into it the a few days later I got interview notice

Interview scheduled for June 24th missed it due to medical emmergency (I am pregnant) & had it rescheduled for Aug 18th

AUg 18th

Arrived there at 7am. Appt was at 8 . Our car was the only one in the parking lot, feeling lost. 7:10 Went to make sure we were in the right place. they let us in. went to waiting room . We were the only people there. 7:20 Friendly lady came to ask for us. Invited us in. Took an oath. Sat down . Asked us for paperwork. Lease, utilities, bank statements etc. most of it wlready in file. verified our signatures on the paperwork. small talk abt my pregnancy .....Showed her sonogram pics....She made copies of them too ( shocked me). We didnt have birth certificate, asked us if we cld bring it back today coz it was slow. Sed yes, got an appt for 10 am. Asked her is thats when we will have our interview she replied, "No we just did the interview". She made some copies of our paperwork, & we left after abt 15 mins of which most of it was taken but the copier machine warming up.

Went home got the the BC brought it back, gave it to her.. She sed everything looks good you will get a decision in the mail.

That fellow VJers has been my i751 trip thus far...

yea but i filed may 2009 my friend since then i had second interview and still waiting!!!!any advise???

I'm sorry to hear that. You have several options listed in the order from least to most effective:

1- Call the NSCS to get an update (it's the USCIS phone number shown on your NOA1)

2- Make an Infopass appointment on the USCIS site

3- Have your congressman file an inquiry

Sorry to hear about your ordeal my friend I know how frustrating it is to get here day after day & hear about approvals & question wwhy they havent touched your paperwork.

To help you we may have to ask a few details ,,, not prying into your affairs but thats how you get advice on VJ

1. You mentioned second interview.....Does this mean in connection with your i751 you had 2 interviews or your AOS was interview #1 and i751 interview #2?

2. How did the interview go?

3. Have you heard from them since? if not how long has it been?

4. What kind of evidence did you have......from waiting a year I have learnt about sooo many other evidences outside the usual that you can take... the bigger the file the less the stress.....

I survived my wait becoz of some pple here who just cared for a stranger they will probably never meet..... We will help you work it out.......
