Preparing the I-134 on behalf of my Canadian fiancee, in advance of our NOA2, I have some questions:

  1. Block 10 - "I have submitted a visa petition(s) to USCIS on behalf of the following persons" - Does this refer to anyone at all, or only people other than the beneficiary of the I-134? I.e., should I list my fiancee here?
  2. Block 11 - "I [intend/do not intend] to make specific contributions to the support of the persons named in item 3" - We are planning on living together after we are married, with myself as sole income earner. My "contributions" are what many husbands provide for their wives, but they don't seem to fit "specific". What should I check and what should I write in the box?

1. Anyone you filed visa petitions for (they are add up).

2. Per the sample form "N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )"

Moving from K-1 P&P to Embassy/Consulate - related to I-134.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Ah thanks! That helps.

BTW, I did look for a sample form, as that is how I filled out the I-129F. I looked here:

and neither of those places had it. I know I could have looked up at the top of the page, but when I first found the sample forms it was through the downloads pointed to by the Guides. Maybe all these different download sections should be consolidated and updated.
