Loto has given good advice in the past. It is up the the end user to use that advice as such, to research and do what is right for themselves. People come here to look for answers, if they only relied on what is said here without researching based on what they were told, they are the fools. Maybe some bad advice was given, and I'm sure you can find on many posts here bad advice has been given before. I respect the moderator, but, I really believe that your comments could have been emailed to him directly. I do not believe your line by line objections were warranted or profesional, they could have been solved through an email.

Speaking about information here. What's up with the Immigration Timelines page. I have seen the dates for IR1/CR1 jump all over the place. Last week at one point it was end of April then it jumped back to 3rd week of April. Then went to May 2 now back to April 30. Who's writing this junk? Talk about mis-information. Just a frustrated USC trying to get his wife here. Loto don't give up I have seen many wrong answers given here before by those in the know?

I feel we're too hard on each other... Those of us who attempt to offer our thoughts and sometimes, we offer bad advise.. Let's keep this in perspective.. We aren't lawyers, but keep in mind that even lawyers offer bad and even illegal advise with the intention of lining thier pocket books and not so much to help others.. The majority of people on this forum have only sincere intentions to help.. We often are jumped on by other VJ'rs but nevertheless, the intentions are sincere..

I disagree with the way this whole issue was handled by katheryn, her response may have been a little too harsh. It is good the moderators point out when bad advice is given.. It may have been better handled a diferent way..

Dont Forget, This is a Free Forum that all can participate.. Unless VJ want's to restrict everyone from offering advice unless we meet some sort of prequalification, we just have to expect that some responses will be bad advise... However, people can and do benefit from VJ in a HUGE way.. I won't be the only once who'll say this, but for me, there is no possible way I would have gotten as far as I've gotten without the help of all of you.. I am extremely grateful for this forum... But I do realize, sometimes, I might get some bad information, so I need to review other resources as well.. I beleive my situation is typical across most others on this forum...

Loto, Please take this for what its worth, I appreciate you starting this thread, because, I think some have lost perspective, so this thread is a opportunity to discuss that..

I consider everyone here as a friend, that doesn't mean that I dont have a life, it's just is a testiment of the good people I've met though various discussions and the motives each of us have here are simply to help each other thought this process..

Kenny

I glanced briefly at the other thread, but you shouldn't let it get you down. It's only ONE thread, I've seen you give excellent advice in others. And what happened to your fpatience, hmm? I mean, your user name is Lotofpatience, right? So -loto = fpatience (ha.ha.)

Like other posters have said, nobody's perfect. Can't expect everyone to agree with you, right? I mean, misunderstandings happen all the time, right?

Well, whatever happens, good luck with your process, and come back soon!

I'm pretty sure the reason that the timelines are so outta whack is because a whole bunch of people that use this website ARE NOT FILLING IN THEIR timelines, so it's not even close to being accurate. If people would actually fill in their timelines, things could be a whole lot easier.

Just my two cents.

I went back and read the post. It was a bit bloody to say the least. Too many punches were thrown.

Why cannot we all make peace? What is so hard about it? Can some one tells me that? :help:

Thanks Kathryn41!

Can you please remove my account from visajourney, as I feel it is not worth being here?

Appreciate your help to remove me from here.

Good luck to all VJ members here for your immigration process!

Thanks

Loto

Hi Loto, i know sometimes people here are so rude, but for sure you are here with the main intention to help. so please reconsider it.

Don't take opinions that are here personally. This is a forum to help each other out. If someone disagrees with you, fine...its an opinion based on a persons viewpoint and experience. Why do you want to remove yourself from looking at experiences that can potentially help your case? After all, that's why we are all here, right? so we don't pay tons of money to lawyers (of which there are many and many of them of both decent folks and very good at what they do) and learn.

Sit back, read, learn, respond. Someone is bound to disagree with you, take that as a given. But do not leave. That doesn't help anybody, least of all, you and your spouse.

My 0.02 cents.

KP
