hello guys..

i just had the first day of my medical..during PE i was asked if i had a primary complex..and i said yes when i was 6 or 7 yrs old..now i regret telling that because i think it will delay my visa interview

my question is..am i automatically be a candidate for a sputum exam because of this?

i hope somebody here had the same experience with me.and share me something so that i know what to expect

tomorrow im going to receive my results and i'm afraid of what will it be..

I don't think the question alone is justification for ordering a sputum test and treatment protocol. I haven't actually been through one of these exams myself, so I don't know the order that they do things. I think the question would be relevant if there was a scar on your lung that showed up in the x-ray. Having a prior infection would explain the scar, but they might still want a sputum test to confirm it. I'm just guessing, though.

Relax, wait for your results, hope for the best, and prepare for the worst. Don't EVER regret telling the truth! If you actually DO have an active infection then discovering and treating it now might have saved your life!

If they see something in your x-ray, you will have to undergo sputum test, if not, then I don't think you will have to do it.
