Hi ppl:

My husband just called to NVC and they said "they just received the check list"...what is it???

IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : Peru

Marriage in Lima : 2010-02-20 (what an amazing day <3)

I-130 Sent : 2010-05-21

I-130 NOA1 : 2010-06-01

I-130 RFE : 2010-07-19 (they ask for a more clear copy of some docs)

I-130 RFE Sent : 2010-07-21

I-130 Approved : 2010-07-27 (First step done!!!!, approved in 56 days)

NVC Received : 2010-08-02

Received DS-3032 /

I-864 Bill : 2010-08-05

Pay I-864 Bill : 2010-08-05

Receive I-864 Package: 2010-08-13

Return Completed I-864:2010-08-09

Return Completed DS-3032: 2010-08-05

Receive IV Bill : 2010-08-10

Pay IV Bill : 2010-08-10

Receive Instruction Package : 2010-08-13

NVC Receive Inst. Package : 2010-08-18 (Patience test!)

Sign In Failed : 2010-08-31

Case complete!!! : 2010-09-01 FINALLY!!!!

Letter received : 2010-09-09 (actually went to the embassy to pick it up)

Interview : 2010-09-13 APPROVED!!!

Enter to USA : 2010-09-19 (Finally here!)

TRAVELLING TO USA ON SATURDAY, THIS IS HAPPENNING REALLY FAST!!!!!

a 'check list letter response' at NVC, is

similar to a RFE at USCIS.

Usually, if NVC 'received the checklist response' from yer USC Spouse, then they've received the forms/documents that they've asked for, of him, from him.

The thing that gets confusing , is that many 'check list letter responses' are sent out from NVC, in error, because of timing issues. If he had a 'real issue' , and they received his packet, in response to the check list letter, hey ! casefile processing resumes.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Then I guess is good.... thank you for ur answer.... sometimes .. some terms are difficult to understand.. why they just dont say something like "your Ds pack is here !" :thumbs:
