Hello VJ'ers,

Is anyone awaitng an CR-1 interview at the Embassy in Nairobi? My wife's case has been complete since July 19th, 2010 and every month am receiving that our case did not make it for the following month. Now am told to call back in September. Knowing how this goes, it can be January of 2012 and they will still say call back in the middle of the following month. This is so disappointing. It's as if they don't care about people's marriages, family and damage the distance can do to a fruitful marriage. My marriage is strong so no worries there but am not happy.

Has anyone been scheduled for August or Septmeber visa interview? Also, any idea why it takes so long to receive an interview at this embassy. I know they service multiple countries in Africa but it is very disappointing that NVC cannot provide any type of detail of this fact. Also, I wonder how countries in UK, Asia,Canada etc can be scheduled fairly quickly after case complete but countries in Africa get placed on the backburner constantly...
