Actually it can't be all Texans because Buddy Holly was superb and he seemed quite mild mannered and gentle and didn't want to bayonet anyone's baby. He came over as almost English.

My dad got the hell out of Texas as soon as he graduated high school. He had always said growing up that he felt he was spiritually from New England, so that's where he went. They removed his hooves on arrival in Connecticut; mine was removed at 3 weeks. You'd never know.

Only thing I point out is just because some people find it a "sensitive" issue, doesn't make them these big evil bigots as certain individuals on this board have made them out to be. There was even one political commentator daring to call the victims who have come out against it 'bigots.' Kind of sad really.

If someone wants to buy a property, obey local laws, and build a Mosque/community center, then that's their perogative. I don't really care.

The only thing I'll argue is that if opposition is so strong to it, then maybe it'd be best for it not to be in that location. That's not saying it shouldn't be there though.
