G-325a erasure

hello, just wanna ask... i made a little mistake on my g-325a 3rd page, and it's already with my fiance in the US, is it ok for my fiance to use like a liquid erasure to correct it? anyone did erase with liquid but petition went fine as well?

ummmm... i don't know - we didn't take any chances but we scanned for mistakes many times b4 actually sending it off. we filled it all out by hand and had to redo pages a few times - it was a drag! good luck!

Never, never, never use liquid paper on originals to be used for official purposes!!! Start over. It will take you a few minutes, but it's the right thing to do. On many original documents, liquid paper is legal grounds for nullification. Don't take that chance. Sorry to be te bearer of bad tidings, but I suspect you'd rather take an hour now than ten days or more later...

My (now) husband made a mistake on his, he crossed it out and wrote the correct answer and initialed it nearby. We had no problems.

really seriously you can do that? coz it's like this.. my g-325a is already with my fiance, so he will be the one who will correct it not me anymore.. so it will have a slight change in penmanship too.. the only correction he will make is in my mother's place of birth.. that's all.. and i'm thinking that if i redo it and send it via fedex it will be expensive for me..

so it's ok if he cross out then? what do you mean initials right next to the correction? thx

Well, to make you feel any better, I filled out the G-form, made mistake, my Lawyer crossed it out and wrote the correction next to it, initialized! approved in 65 days!

Writing initials is not necessary.. the line through the response and the correct response given above it is sufficient.
