gemmie - check out englishporkpiecompany.com. Excellent bacon & sausages, and sausage rolls and pork pies. Pasties are OK. There right here in Buffalo & I highly recommend them. No minimum purchase, either. :star:

I've been there in person to pick up my sausage rolls fresh out of the oven. *drool* And the pork pies were to die for. Lovely people who run it, too. :star:

I've actually got a pork pie, a tikka masala pie and a mushy pea pie in my shopping cart right now. :blush:

Correct me if I'm wrong, Mags, but I believe a mushy pea pie is simply a pork pie with a layer of mushy peas on top. I love mushy peas. :wub:

There's a festival here once a year called the Highland Games--this area was settled by the Scots and the Irish and you know how americans lurve their roots--and we go to that to pick up little foodstuffs that he can't get here otherwise. Then I make him listen to the bagpipes and go on and on about how it's his heritage.

...and somehow he loves me still.
