Well, I'm sorry to say that ALL OF US just missed the right time - like in the beginning of 2010, when the I-130s were moving super fast... Also, PRIORITY DATE is a term that is obviously irrelative to immigration processing... :bonk:

Congratulationssssssssssssss....I don't know what to say , I really felt like my heart pop out when you i seen that you got approved , I don't really know how happy would i be when i get approved then , its been a long wait , 7.5 months , I contacted my congress man, How long do you think he is gonna contact me back?.

That's what I mean!! :P We sent an e-mail to the congressman's office on the 12th and things started moving the next day!! How long has it been since u contacted ur congressman??

Hmmm... maybe you can send and e-mail or smth? What did they tell you when u contacted them? Did they give you any info at all?

They told my wife to send them the proofs n everything and letter explaining whats going on ...and we sent all that already but nothing happened so my wife contacted em back yesterday but they were off or what ever so she left a message and they should contact her back..

canadian_wife and I travelled trhought NVC at almost the same time. Both guides were helpful but the biggest help is joining a NVC thread of fellow filers so you can support each other through the NVC journey.

Hey everyone,

After a long wait and some help from Mr. J.I. from the Congressman's office, we got approved on the 16th of Aug!!! Both our petitions are being send to the NVC and we will pursue the IR1/CR1, that's why I'm posting it here! :) (we kinda had that IR1/CR1 intention all along :P).

I just wanted to share that the USCIS didn't request any RFE or other dox for the expedition, which makes me think that it probly was (almost) our time for a NOA2.. Sooo, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone waiting for their NOA2 and I hope you get it sooner than later!

Now, the NVC battle begins! :ph34r::bonk::ph34r:

i also got an approval NOA2 on august 12, 2010. and its going to be transfered to NVC. my question now is, whats next steps im going to take?
