Thanks for the feedback everyone. :)

Elle, I was wondering about that. I was afraid to send in the I-130 (to the VSC) and then find out the DCF was reinstated. However, if they don't care about me filing it twice (more money to them) then I will gladly do it. Did you have any issues or letters from the USCIS regarding the multiple I-130s?

I hope we hear some news within the next week or so on the DCF front.

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all hanging in there! For those of you thinking about putting in your forms...if it was me I would just do it. At least you wouldn't be waiting anymore. I know it's easy for me to say but also I am an impatient one so I know waiting gets the better of me!

I wish you all a speedy process.

Vik, I have to wait to sell my car before I leave because my fiance is only on an Army wage so we need all the money we can save to set up house until I can work which means I have to get a job as soon as I can too. He is going on training so I will stay here until he gets back which will also give me a few more pays.

I own a Honda Civic 2003 but the market is really bad at the moment so although I have had it up for sale for quite a while it still hasn't sold. :(

Wow you are getting close if you are working on packet 4. You must be starting to get excited. I am sure you will be fine at the interview. :)

Hugs everyone for Valentines Day! I miss my baby today!

Take care

Lyndel

....if priscilla goes to the doc in melbourne she will have to show which pathologist her results came from ..the doc is pretty down the line to the procedure...if she goes to monash i dont know what they are like... do you have a copy of the form im talking about ausqueen...

kath and priscilla... result for vacs comes on pathology official paper. I did not need anything extra. My GP gave me copies and put originals on my file. Dr Millar looked at those copies and just filled in consulate form.

I'm not sure if you were talking earlier abt the form where they all sign that they sighted your PPort, but that's at the medical. X/ray person, lab tech and the doctor all sign that form. And you keep it to take to the interview. I hope that's it :)

Vylex - I've read somewhere on here that it isn't normally recommened to re-file (that may have been re-filing in a USCIS office), but like I mentioned I double checked with the Consulate. So maybe check with the consulate and USCIS?

When I did my walk in, Rose (i think that was her) asked what was happening with the current petition (as in the I-130 form theres a section asking if you have filed this petition before), I said it was pending and she looked it up and then passed our files to the case officer, and that was it.

It doesn't seem like we'll be hearing from Sydney Consulate this month. Fingers crossed it'll be good news when they do announce something.

Thanks for the well wishes! We need it! ;)

Melbourne is truly an amazing place. I feel sad for him that he'll have to leave such a wonderful city to come here. The benefits outweigh the costs, though. :)

Ah northeast. I think I've been there before.

Oh that is sweet.. Joshua saw Melbourne city for the first time today, on our way to court lol.. and he was surprised that it was so spread out with the wide streets and so clean (He's just come from living three months in NY). I got so excited showing him the sights and significant icons. He was a bit aprehensive before but I can tell he loves it already. Can't wait to show him more when we get a chance.

It is nice to leave a home that you can always come back to if you wanted to...
