8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

thanks mate..yeah i know it goes along with the k-1 visa approval lol

they must of pulled their finger out or summit who knows with them...robbie was rapt too not having to go to cleveland...

so how are things going with u at your new job good i hope..me im going crazy ...i spend too much time on here reading up on things and trying to pass time by while robbie is at work...

i have survived 2 an half months of it so far...lol

Hello all... to those I was in contact with in the middle of the year... I just wanted to let you guys know that Stephanie and I finally got married two weeks ago and our DCF process should begin by the end of November since I'll be doing a walk-in Thursday in Sydney instead of waiting on an appointment for Melbourne.

04 January 2004 : Met Stephanie in Las Vegas.

15 May 2006 : Joined visajourney

16 September 2006: Got married in Las Vegas.

03 October 2006 : Stephanie applies for certificate of name change.

12 October 2006 : Stephanie recieved certificate of name change.

16 October 2006 : Stephanie applies for NPC, recieves a couple weeks later.

29 November 2006 : Arrived in Sydney, stayed in 4Points Sheraton Darling Harbor.

30 November 2006 : DCF. Submitted I-130 Sydney US Consulate "walk-in Thursday". Packet 3 in hand.

11 December 2006 : Final Medical Appointment with Dr Miller and immunizations. Approved.

11 December 2006 : Sent off DS-230 Parts I and II, and DS-2001 overnight priority.

27 December 2006 : Received RFE in the mail, returned RFE same day.

24 January 2007 : New Legislation preventing approvals of I-130s at Consulate.

30 January 2007 : Final Visa Interview in Sydney.

22 February 2007: Sydney called for my wife to send her passport to issue the visa.

04 March 2007: Stephanie flies back to Australia to post her passport.

14 March 2007: Stephanie Recieves passport and visa.

18 March 2007: Stephanie is in Florida. Journey is over.

Cooeeee!! thought I'd better type a few lines. Still drop in to read some just slack now I'm here and got this old computer to contend with.

And so cool seeing the new addition to your family so soon Matt.

Sorry Kath, just ain't the footy kind, no Rah Rah's from me.

Doing the AOS thingy now too, and so good of Kath to send me some of her always helpful info etc.

Wish I had that littlle mouse picture of Wenchies to put up here sometimes. So appreciative you guys are keeping the "'down under" alive. Getting pretty home sick, I can tell ya. Dreaming of local beaches and the smell of eucalyptus leaves, barbi's in the bush. Crazy nights out in Sydney. Had to ring a government office in Aussy the other day, so yeah the accent made me feel the guy was a great mate, so yeah know what ya mean. T'is a beautiful sound that Aussie accent.

Ranting now. Crying heaps watching the Steve Erwin special on TV, not just cause it was so sad but 'cause I was feeling so home sick.

..................Interview went well, just waiting on Criminal History checks to post back with that envelopee and passport to get visa.

5-6-2006 Received Criminal History Check in the mail and posted off back to consulate with passport etc hoping for it's return with visa in two weeks.

14-6-2006 Passport and visa recieved in mail. Visa issued the 13th.

24-6-2006 USA here I come

26-7-2006 Received Social Security Card in less than 5 working days after applying.

9-9-2006 Married

awwwwwwwwwwww stella...we all know what ya going through ..i only cry when my boy rings me i miss him so much.....i do miss the feeling of belonging ya know what i mean...i could go out at home an know where i was going and not the feeling of ###### if i go this way i might get lost...i know it will take time especially when i dont drive here yet..god help um when i get on the road...lol

will email you stella..

well robbie has put in for his day off so i get an extra day with him next week all to myself..him working saturdays sux and he came home last night saying that they might be working saturdays till december...so he was pretty depressed about that..friggen work wants the nitro's built...hate it when a new jeep comes out...lol

Quick question, I'm sure it's been answered and I can't remember where I saw it... but before I purchase this 1700$ ticket to Sydney... is it ok for me to submit the I-130 in Sydney although my wife lives in South Australia.

I got a delta flight from Pensacola, to Atlanta then to LAX, and then a United Airlines flight from LAX to Sydney and back again for only $1675. I leave on the 27th of November so I'm sure it's a little pricier since it's just after Thanksgiving weekend (US Holiday). I prefer Delta when I fly domestic because they have never lost track of my luggage.
